Our premium range of 12×1.6mm pert-al-pert pipe is manufactured to ENISO 9001 European standard ensuring outstanding performance & reliability in all types of warm water underfloor heating systems.
12mm pipe is perfectly suited to ultra low profile overlay boards with a profile less than 18mm. Due to the narrow bore it is recommended to not exceed 80m loops when using 12mm pipe to maximise the heat transfer and performance of your underfloor heating system.
Pert-Al-Pert pipe provides unrivalled suitability for underfloor heating by combining the best elements of a plastic and metal pipe into one product, and can also be used in potable water applications.
The aluminium core provides strength and importantly acts as an oxygen barrier to stop the ingress of oxygen into the system causing premature wear (corrosion) to the manifold. The aluminium layer also makes the pipe form-stable, making it very easy to work with by eliminating spring back for easier installation.
